Support Assistant (f/m/d) 100%
Your challenges
- Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules, ensuring the accuracy of revenue recognition in collaboration with other teams.
- Review accounting information provided by external service providers.
- Maintain schedules for Fixed Assets, Intangible Assets, Prepaid Expenses, and other assets.
- Prepare and analyze monthly account reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, T&E expenses, cryptocurrency accounts/wallets, and intercompany transactions.
- Perform daily accounting tasks and assist with monthly general ledger closings, including flux analysis.
- Assist in preparing financial statements according to IFRS.
- Support treasury and cash management activities.
- Aid in the preparation of regulatory and tax filings.
- Prepare audit support schedules and collaborate closely with external auditors.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and documentation of internal controls.
- Conduct technical accounting research.
- Handle ad-hoc assignments and special projects.
Your skills
- Undergraduate or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in corporate accounting and/or audit.
- Preferred experience in asset management, technology, or general financial services.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of consolidation and foreign exchange is advantageous.
- Excellent English language skills are required and good German language skills are an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse workload in a deadline-driven environment.
- A collaborative and collegial team player.
- Interest in fintech and cryptocurrencies.
- CPA or equivalent credentials are highly desirable.
- Possess a valid permit to work
